Dropin Anchor

• Select the required anchor size.

• Drill a hole in concrete using a hammer drill and carbide tipped masonry drill bit matching bit size with the outside diameter of the drop-in anchor being used. Make sure the hole depth exceeds the minimum embedment depth.

• Clear all the debris or drilling dust from the hole.

• Drive the anchor into the hole until it is flush with the surface of the concrete.

• Using proper sized setting tool, expand the anchor setting tool into the anchor followed by several hammer blows.

• Proper installation can be verified when the shoulder of the setting tool is flush with the top of anchor.

For Below Surface Installation:

• Drill hole deeper than anchor length.

• Thread bolt into anchor.

• Hammer anchor into hole until bolt head is at desired depth.

• Remove bolt and set anchor with setting tool.
